I'm a software engineer with 6 years of development experience and 10+ years of overall experience in the IT field. I've previously worked with various Fortune 500 companies and I'm now currently enjoying being at a small development firm. I have a solid understanding of IT strategies from a business and marketing perspective while continuously learning the craft of software. I've worked in both waterfall and agile environments while taking an active part in shaping the processes and standards of departmental operations. I'm very interested in exploring new technologies, mastering the current ones, and understanding the old. My development experience, in a nutshell, includes studying C++, entering the industry developing Java web services, developing .NET web applications for my current employer, and experimenting with various languages, frameworks, and libraries in my personal time.
