I'm a web/web application developer with 5 years of development experience and 10+ years of overall experience in the IT field. I've worked with various Fortune 500 companies and have a solid understanding of IT strategies from a business and marketing perspective. I've worked in both waterfall and agile environments while taking an active part in shaping the processes and standards of departmental operations. I'm very interested in exploring new technologies, mastering the current ones, and at least understanding the old. My development experience, in a nutshell, includes studying C++, entering the industry developing Java SOAP web services, developing ASP.NET web applications and services for my current employer, teaching myself PHP, and experimenting with various frameworks and libraries in my personal time.
